COMMEMORATIVE BOOK DESIGN
Graham & Brown
Book Design
⊹

The 75 Years Commemorative Book design project sought to tell the rich history of Graham & Brown, with stories from the people, past and present, who make up its legacy.
At 260 pages, it’s no short story! The project involved in-depth research, a vast amount of creative design, and liaison with many stakeholders across the business. I worked closely with former Livingetc editor Suzanne Imre to write the story, which follows a dual narrative. People sections flow chronologically throughout, dotted between chapters that tell the history of key areas of the modern business.
I designed the full layout, trawled the company’s archives, oversaw new photography, and worked closely with the supplier to produce something truly unique – the cover is even backed in real wallpaper!
The main objective of the project was to tell the story of the people who make up Graham & Brown, and this runs as a current throughout its pages. The book’s endpapers even hold the names of all the company’s employees on the date of its anniversary.
